2021 Family Beach Portraits

2021 family beach portraits has been the busiest time since I’ve started in the early 90s. From Long Beach Island to Spring Lake and every beach town in between, it has been a lot of fun capturing family heirlooms that my clients will cherish for their lifetime.

There are several reasons why I’ve been busier. One reason is that families seem to have more gratitude than ever since many couldn’t be together last year. Because of Covid-19, most families were forced to cancel their vacations for various reasons. It also wasn’t recommended that large groups stayed together in close quarters, especially with the vulnerable like grandparents. Many family members worked in the healthcare industry and couldn’t take a break because they attended the sick. Furthermore, since last year I wasn’t as busy as years past, I worked on my marketing, specifically my Google rankings.

If you are vacationing in or around Long Beach Island, Spring Lake, Sea Girt, Manasquan, Lavallette, Bay Head, consider having a family portrait taken by Rob Wilson Photography. I work with any sized families. There isn’t a portrait session too small or big from one child to multiple generational portraits of thirty people.

What to Expect During 2021 Family Beach Portraits

It’s typically wise to start with the most important grouping. If it’s an extended family shoot, then it’s usually the big group. From there, we work to get the smallest of children finished. Even though they may start strong, it’s not unusual for them to lose their enthusiasm as the session goes on. It can quickly go from good to bad. Although there is typically one hour set aside for beach portrait sessions, these sessions usually are finished forty-five minutes or less. I don’t need much time to capture something special for you. Are your ready for your 2021 family beach portraits?
